Senior Integrated Producer

My name’s John C Brownlie. My passion for creating and producing began young. I’ve always been in my element occupying that space at the intersection of art, design, photography, moving image and music. Separate disciplines, yet so closely connected.

I’ve worked extensively as a Senior Integrated Project Manager / Producer / Delivery Lead in international creative agencies, production studios and client-side in global corporates.

My specialism is producing impactful, emotionally-resonant content that drives brand visibility and business results.

I’ve managed relationships with stakeholders and agencies, leading international cross-functional teams through complex, high-profile projects from concept to global delivery. Curating authentic, confident, compelling, integrated 360 content. From targeted “below the line” to large-scale “above the line" campaigns.

Sectors I’ve worked across have included Automotive, Travel, Health, Fashion, FMCG, Hospitality, Renewable energy, Retail, Charity and Telecoms. Clients include Emirates, Hyundai, GSK, Maersk, PWC. E.ON Next and Coca Cola, to name but a few. Deliverables include digital brand identities, video production, photography, websites, UX, copywriting, e-CRM, animation, media tool kits, infographics, audio production, graphic design, print and localisation.

I’ve designed and implemented lasting improvements which have crossed over into business transformation. As Creative Program Manager within an international business, I reduced project timelines by eight months and enabled six-figure cost savings. Agile work strategies I developed were adopted by the wider global digital team to streamline workflow.

In these leadership positions, I’ve had the opportunity to exercise creative and editorial judgement gained through my practical experience in multiple disciplines. I bring a unique perspective and a real affinity for casting and managing creative relationships. When partnering with video production companies in North America, I played a key role in a team creating a suite of TV-ready commercials which went on to win Gold in the 41st New York Telly Awards.

 
 
 
 

Picture and sound

With John Charles Media, I’ve produced content for a variety of businesses. Delivering end to end projects including video, photography, copywriting, brand identity, music curation, events, websites and social media content. Turning ideas into engagement through content that elevates brands.

The case studies on my video page provide a snapshot of work I’ve produced for clients. Alongside commercial photography, my video productions have represented global brands like M&S, Giorgio Armani and Revlon. For Nobu London Old Park Lane, my film content was personally approved by Nobu Matsuhisa and Robert De Niro to represent their restaurant business in 16 countries across 5 continents.

In parallel to this, I started, marketed, scaled and successfully toured an electronic music event brand in several countries, performing to thousands of people at many internationally-recognised venues. A background in classical music, paired with this expertise, leant naturally to working with composers and rearranging their music for film. I’ve had the opportunity to create memorable customer experiences by designing soundtracks for fashion shows, London PR launches and international private events. As well as curating music for restaurants such as Nobu Old Park Lane, Antony Worrall Thompson and globally recognised lifestyle brands such as Soho House.

In recent months, I’ve revisited some of my personal photographic work relating to places and subjects that played a role in my formative years. Bringing these full circle and sharing them has been a hugely rewarding process. The first print I released is supporting a charity and was awarded a five star review in a best-selling magazine. I’m incredibly honoured it’s now displayed in a major gallery alongside famous oil paintings and exhibits from the National Collection. Inspired by the reaction to this, I’ve brought together a collection of fine art prints which will be available to own from the shop page.
